I game across this home brew Sonic game titled "Sonic Revolution". It's all over YouTube, if you're curious. Anyways, It sparked my interests seeing as it had a lot of potential being a game that was built from the ground up, and not a mod. So I sent in my portfolio to Spiderbyte Games, which caught the attention of one of the team founders.
Appearantly the project was (basicly) dropped, seeing as nearly all team members had bailed. I was told if I could animate, I've got the spot and he might revive the project. Needless to say, he liked a couple samples I sent.
So, I spent 3 weeks re-learning Blender and completing the animation list, which I turned in nearly a month ago, and haven't gotten a response back. I've tried contacting him through several means.. but nothing.
This leads me to my rant... Im sick of people showing interest in what I do, then bailing or completely stopping communication when I've done my part. It's damn near impossible to find people dedicated to anything anymore.
No more mod teams -everyone knows 99% of mods never get finished-, no more teams that are barely to the concept art stage, and no more joining teams with guys under 20 years of age.
Unfortunately, that leaves no one else except big name businesses. Hah
So for now, Im going to stick with rebuilding this old '67 Ford Galaxie 500 that's sitting in the garage.
Ill upload the animations soon.
